More fun. Now with a tail ski. (Note the tail on the champ versus mine, with the same tailwheel.)

Ski tests were successful this winter. Main and tail ski designs are available through Brett (sales@airdale.com) at Airdale.

The tail ski design is a "wheel through" type of setup that works with the Maul tailwheel commonly used on the Avids and Kitfoxes. Note the picture above; both planes have Maul tail wheels, the yellow Kitfox has the ski on the tailwheel.



Unfortunately, our ski season is winding down very fast. Last Saturday was my last ski outing. Took the skis off this week. Now to prep for the trip to Sun 'N Fun!!
